Dr. Mylene Mariette is a Australian Research Council fellow in the Centre for Integrative Ecology, at Deakin University. Before joining Deakin, she did her PhD at Macquarie University in Sydney, and then a postdoc in bioacoustics in France. She studies acoustic communication and adaptation to arid environments in birds.
